Living in bend is definatly not the same as living in Boise.
- When you leave a restaurant, it is not uncommon to see deer grazing in the parking lot next to your car.
- IHOP closes at 10 pm.
- There are no stores open 24 hours.
- Wal-Mart doesn't sell groceries.
- Even if it reaches 90 degrees during the day it can still be 35 degrees at night.
- It only takes 17 minutes to drive from one side of town to the other.
- No sales tax, but every soda you purchase is taxed $0.05.
The landscape is so beautiful here, so green! Whoever named Boise the city of trees was wrong, because there are FAR more trees here!
Even the dogs love it here. Pippin is enjoying playing with a dog his own size...
...while Winston is enjoying all the mud puddles.

I agree...Oregon is so much more green and leafy then Boise ever is! Glad you're finding the quirks of your new town. I think you'll come to appreciate the little things like that. Love you!
